Eureka

NOT the TV SHOW.

Today I felt like myself again. There were only a few teeny tiny episodes of that dizzy feeling. I went from like 40% feeling like myself yesterday to about 95% today.

All of my tests came back NORMAL.

Now, here's the catch. I am not back up to FULL THROTTLE yet. I have cut out all the fun stuff, exercise, and anything other then kids and work stuff. Well, blogging is still allowed, because I don't have to exert too much energy to sit here and type.

Am I out of the woods? Maybe not, but I am hopeful.

I could not have gotten through this 2 weeks without all of the help and prayers out there. Thanks.

Maybe someone already mentioned this in a comment, but have you heard much about Orthostatic Intolerance? It's what Greg the Yellow Wiggle was diagnosed with. I read that it's very hard to diagnose because all the tests come out normal. Just another thing to think about!

Hi, Kage! At first I thought you were talking about the weird puppet tv show from the early 90's, Eureka's Castle or whatever until I clicked on the link. Regardless, glad to hear that as of now you seem to be getting better. I have a random question: Have you heard any feed back on your possible tv show that some tv people were talking to you about some time ago? Just curious! Have a good day =)

I'm glad you're feeling better. This is just me, but exercise would be the last thing to go. W/out it I'm a stress case (being prego right now doesn't count- although it drives me crazy). But unfortunately I guess we have to prioritize, I hope this feeling good continues.

I wish I could have exercised, but the dizzy factor was pretty excruciating just walking...I couldn't even face doing walking in the heat or on the machines....yikes...but I am really craving it, so I will start on an easy level again.

My husband went through something similar, although maybe not quite as severe! First off there was no way he could have exercised, he had a hard time standing up! He also went to the doctor and they were worried and baffled all at once. I am trying to recall all of what was said. I know they gave him a nose spray hoping it was a sinus issue (doubtful). In the end I read about something on the internet (the doctor mentioned it too) where something in ear, particles fall off, and cause dizzyness. Anyway in most cases they resolve themselves. IN his case he was miserable for more than a week and then slowly it was almost normal. He has almost no issues now a year later. Before the incident he had done some cliff jumping in Hawaii and hurt his ear, so maybe that was the cause. We will never know. All I know it how terrible it was. I am so glad you are feeling better. I will continue to pray it improves and does not return. It is so hard to not feel normal and continue your role as mommy/wife/working person! ((HUGS)) Hopefully his story will give you hope it will get better and not return!
