The amazing windows at Macy's:

Today I am off to the Met to see the final dress rehearsal of Hansel and Gretel, for FREE (never done this before, I hope I am successful getting in!). This afternoon I am taking Big Sis ice skating again....and then the festivities of Christmas REALLY begin...

Were you skating at Bryant Park on Wed.? I swear I saw someone skating that looked just like your picture.

Anita K, YES I was skating there Wed. in the AM. Were you on the ice or watching from the park? Small world

It really is a small world as I live in Houston and was only in NYC on Tues. & Wed. My husband and I walked to The Tinsel Story (I think that is the name) and were walking back to our hotel when I saw Bryant Park. I think you have written about storytime with your girls or something like that. I also remember the Interior Design competition show (can't remember the name) where they used the little shops/stores to decorate as a room. So I walked into the park and saw the rink and there I saw someone that looked like you in a gray sweater and seemed to be as full of life as you sound in your blog. I told my husband I think I read her blog. You really must write a book about the joy you seem to have in life! I'm sorry I didn't say hello, but you hate to yell at a skater while on the side, "Hey, are you Kristie?"

These pictures are absolutely precious!

Hmmmm......I don't think I remember about your going for the callback on YF. Have you seen it yet? After they do their final bow they sing a song which says something about next year and Blazing Saddles.

I think we may turn our short NYC trip into a Christmas tradition for us. Only one night is a little too short, but 2 nights and 2 shows would be perfect.
