Kristy, everytime I check out your blog, I feel like you are leaps and bounds beyond me as a mother, artist, and just all around groovy girl. I wish I had a tenth of your energy. You inspire me to be a more creative mother. Thanks!!!!
I don't know why the video messes up a little at the end...sorry.
Wow! I loved watching this. I felt like I was there. You sounded so good and looked so pretty. I am so proud of Big Sis! She did such a beautiful job. One of my favorite parts was the accompanist sitting by Lil Sis in the car!
As one of a few people who attended both performances, it was a thrill to see Kristy sing in person again. The children's choir was wonderful, and Darby was sooo good with her solo. But Kristy knocked the socks off everyone in the audience. And Lisa, I'm so glad you suggested she record Mary Did You Know - it still brings tears to my eyes when she sings those beautiful words. Kristy, I had no idea you forgot the words - I was trying to figure out why John was repeating that measure. Now,on to 2008 - we will get her on the program to sing at the Washington DC Visitor's Center during the holiday season next year. Thanks for sharing this adventure with us.
Thanks for making this. What a success and the girls are so cute. Congrats!
What a great video! Thanks for sharing. Loving the longer hair! Yes, I am "crazy hair fan!" HA;)
Nice video. You handled the mess-up pretty well -- a bunch of people probably didn't even notice. That's a long ways for the accompanist to travel. I hope you treated him to a bagel or something.PS: I'm also a crazy hair fan.PPS: The family Christmas photos look marvy. Love the one against the glass.
Thanks so much for sharing this. I totally got me into the holiday spirit and made me feel like I was there listening the concert. I was very touched by Mary did you know, it was truly beautiful! What a wonderful family you have!
Hey Kristy! It looks like it went great for you this weekend.. what is really neat is to see how your daughter really wants to sing and "be like mom". You can tell she looks up to you a lot. Super cute singing together!Love the hair, it gives you a new look that is really cute! How fun! I always love the lights at the DC temple too! We were married there, and whenever I see it I miss it!
What an amazing family you have! Loved the video- I will share it with my daughter when she gets home from school- she loves to sing, and I think she would love seeing you!
Thanks for doing the fireside in Falls Church. It was so great to actually meet you and your darling family and also Jen and her handsome son. I'm glad you had a great time to DC, still bummed I missed your concert, next time. I hope that we can run into each other again. Maybe in NYC some time ;). :D
Ummmm....can we clone D in time for my Kindergartners' Holiday Sing?!?! Just drop her off in Park Ridge and i'll take care of it. :o)
Amazing! So sad that we no longer live in DC and can't see you live...I guess we'll just have to wait for the western states tour!
Great video!!!! I'm bummed we didn't get to catch your concert this time, but we'll definitely try the next time you come here. :)
