She's reading now

Love the new discovery of reading. In her violin lesson the other day her teacher presented her with a new song called "Gay and Happy." She asked what was the title and he said: "Happy Song!" She took a look and said, "but what does this word say, Guh...?" And he replied, "that is another word that means Happy. It's the Happy and Happy Song."

She said: "Oh."

That's so cute. I especially love her reading pose. I don't think I could do that with my new Ken Follett book! (1000 pages...)

Not only is she reading, she is doing it with her toes! I never learned that in school.

Hooray for reading! I should show this picture to my 9 yr old son. He might want to try reading like that. He already wants to learn to play the piano with his toes like Jon Schmidt. :)

P.S. I love the books about a little dog named Biscuit. My son refused to read the other beginner reader books but loved the Biscuit ones. I'm starting my 3 yr old on them now. We also LOVE the Junie B. Jones series and the Magic Tree House series as well. Great books for you to read aloud to her. They are a bit advanced for beginning readers. The Junie B. Jones ones just crack me up!

What is the name of the book series that she is reading? My son loved the Biscuit series too. Congrats to your daughter!

Watching the View right now, and it that is you in the front row (the shots are REALLY fast and I can't quite catch a view of either little sister..) Then they showed you A LOT.... and you looked like you were having a good time.

Wait, they just did a shot of you and the girls, and one of them was picking her nose!! It was so cute!
