Dresses

THIS DRESS! I saw it and HAD to have it, but I could only track down one on this entire Long Island and Manhattan Island, and it fit the wrong kid. Lil Sis does look cute in it, but I did want it for Big Sis. I am having her portrait taken by this photographer who did the cover of my album. The portrait is meant to be a girl and her violin.

Since the dress I saw is not available in her size, I bought a few others, and I am opening up comments to you to vote on which dress I should have her violin portrait taken in.

In the midst of our styling photoshoot, Lil Sis and Daddy got in on the fun. They are best friends these days.

Bright pink or white shirt with green skirt...

I like the light blue one - simply because she looks so happy to be wearing it!!
Oh, and on another subject... I like your wall color. Do you know what it is?

I like the 2 on the right (light green w/white flower, cream w/red & pink flowers) and the light pink with the red flowers.

She's adorable in all of them! I actually like the light blue one the best. It is a great color on her. Lil' sis' dress is so dang cute too! Have fun!

Gosh, I was originally thinking the bright pink when I saw these last week but now I'm wondering if it doesn't really go with the color of the violin. Now I am thinking the blue in the same style or the pink dress with the white collar. I know the white shirt is paired up with a green skirt, but I think both white outfits are too "concert dress" like when you're told to wear white and/or black.

I'm trying real hard not read the other comments so I can give my "real" opinion. I love clothing. The hot pink one was totally my favorite. I also liked the green skirt one and smocked dress too!

I like light blue and the light pink one where she is holding the side of the dress out. That girl of yours is very photogenic. It's like she already knows how to model...hee hee...oh wait...she does! :) Can I just mention that this is SO foreign to me? I have 2 boys. I'm lucky to get them bathed a few times a week!!!

Bright pink or the blue. Beautiful dresses and I love that the dresses are subdued. And those colors look awesome on your DD. Where did you get them?

I like the dresses with sleeves best with the violin. The pink one is my favorite.

I like the light blue one.

I also saw your Visine commercial tonight while watching reruns of That 70's Show during the 11pm show on Fox.

I love the pale blue/turquoise one. It's very classy, pretty, modern, and great with the violin.

I love the bright pink one! (Although they are all so pretty!)

Not like you need another opinion- but I like the pale turqouise one the best- isn't that the same dress as the hot pink one? I'd vote for that second. It just looks great on her. =)

I like the turquoise one the best. That dress is cute in both pink and blue. I just think that the blue one is better for a portrait. The pink is so bright it draws your attention away from the violin. I like that this dress has sleeves, the subtle color and the shape of it. It is also a great color on her.
She looks tired, I hope she gets rested before her big shoot.

I'm still voting for the light pink but that's because I am a grandma and I like smocking!

Lisa and I are on the same wavelength (although I am not a grandma~ just a mama who loves smocking too!!) I vote light pink!
She is going to look beautiful in anything. But I see your disappointment in not finding that amazing dress in Big Sis' size. It's hard to find something else when you have "that certain something" in mind!

I'm a sucker for smocking, so that's my vote. (I'm guessing that I'll never be able to get my son to pose in a bazillion outfits for his portrait, am I? :o)
