I am excited that you posted Jack Johnson on your blog today! I love his music, esp when he sings about being green ;)
I just read something in a magazine about being green... and it said that if people would just start scraping food into the garbage instead of washing it down the disposal that it would save SO much water... Anyhow, I love learning how you are trying to be green!
Also, how do you like "A Thousand Splendid Suns"?

sara, JUSt started it, so not quite into it yet.....

and I no longer have a garbage disposal, so I am covered there!

this morning my DH came into the bedroom singing the tune of this video, with these words:

mghmm-huh
mmmme-wah
REcycle.

I was like...dude, watch it again, you're missing the POINT!

That is so hilarious! We hear Jack Johnson a bit because our almost three year old son loves Curious George... not such a fan of the tv watching at this age, but nevertheless, he always can pick out Jack Johnson, so when I played the video this morning, he was like "George"? I was like nope, "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle"...
Have a great weekend ;)
Oh and yay to not having a garbage disposal ;)
