Grammy & Papa, IN THE HOUSE....

Grammy and Papa are here for the weekend.

So far we have...

played scrabble, go-fish, read almost an entire Junie B Jones book each (Grammy one, Papa, the other), watched Horton Hears a Who starring Jim Carrey, caught up on Top Chef, knitted our respective projects, worked out, ate a lot of homemade Oreo cookies, taken a few pix, made reservations for Alice's Tea Cup, gone to a Duke Game (Papa and Jason), and now we are getting ready to try to acquire the much-coveted Cubs Tickets. Wish us Luck!

I love that you are an Alice's lover now! You know my friend Miles is a manager at the one on the UWS. If he's there he will TOTALLY hook you up! Yum.

2 chocolate cake mixes, i use devils cake mix
4 eggs
3/4 c. oil

Mix until until moist, roll into balls as close in size as possible. Bake 350 for 8-10 min. I keep them on the tray for about 1 min so that they'll faltten out a bit.

8 oz cream cheese, keep it out to soften it.
2- 2 2/3 c. powdered sugar- The less that better but you need it pretty thick or the cookies will fall apart. I usually try to keep the frosting cool and then put the cookies in the fridge so that I don't have to use as much sugar.

I used only about 1 3/4 I guess add sugar to taste
